Rules & Regulations
In adherence to the guidelines set by the West Bengal Higher Secondary Education Council, it is mandatory for students in both 11th and 12th grades to adhere to attendance regulations throughout the academic year. Students in grades 9 through 12 are expected to maintain a minimum attendance of 75% for the entire academic year, while students in other grades are also required to attend school regularly.
Students are required to arrive at school by 10:35 am. Upon reaching the school grounds by this early hour, students will form a line in silence. Following this, the 'Prayer Meeting' will commence. After the 'Prathana Sangeet,' students will assemble and proceed to their designated classrooms, taking their assigned seats. Please note that attendance at the prayer is mandatory. The school's main gate will be closed after 10:50 am.
Students who arrive at school without their "Guide Book" and "Identity Card" will not be granted entry.
Any absence from school, along with the reason, must be documented and presented to the class teacher on the following attendance day, along with a parent's signature.
If you lose your guidebook, you can obtain a replacement by depositing twenty (20) rupees for each duplicate copy.
All students are required to adhere to the school dress code, which includes navy blue trousers or shorts, a white shirt, white socks, black shoes or white sneakers, and a navy blue sweater.
Students currently enrolled in the school are required to wear the school uniform when entering the premises.
If you need to leave the school premises after attending classes, a request letter signed by a parent stating the reason must be submitted to the class teacher initially. Please note that no leave will be granted during the first phase.
Every student is required to submit homework regularly. If unable to do so, they must inform their parents. Failure to comply may result in necessary actions, including parental notifications.
If a student is absent from school for an unexcused period exceeding two months, their name will be removed from the school's records.
All students are encouraged to engage in co-curricular activities in addition to their regular studies at school.
If the name is not registered in accordance with the regulations of West Bengal Madhya Shiksha Parshad and Higher Secondary Education Sangsad for class 9th and 11th within the stipulated timeframe, the student will not be considered a part of the school's enrollment.
Only the student's legal guardian will be notified regarding any issue.
The school's decision in any matter is conclusive.
Every student, whether they have passed or failed the school's annual examination at the designated time, must have their name documented.
All students are required to attend school on the designated day for the release of individual assessment results.
Primarily, if you are facing a serious illness or require specialized medical guidance, students should visit the Student Health Home with a guidebook signed by the headmaster.
Every year, numerous awards will be presented during the annual cultural event.
Government scholarships for SC/ST students are granted once they commence their schooling, and disbursement occurs through official notifications to eligible students.
A notification will be issued to inform parents about the upcoming parent meetings, which will occur twice during each academic year. During these meetings, parents will have the opportunity to openly discuss any concerns or grievances they may have regarding the head teacher, assistant teacher, and the school office.
The school administration aims to foster strong connections between students, teachers, and parents, and they anticipate that parents' active participation in such programs will contribute to the overall development of the school. The schedule for Parent Week will be announced at a later date..
Maintaining the classroom furniture is a collective responsibility shared by all individuals. Any damages incurred to furniture, regardless of its category, will be the responsibility of those responsible for the damage. In such cases, it is expected that those who have caused the damage fulfill their moral obligation by promptly reporting it to the school authorities. Additionally, maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and tidiness of the classroom will be regarded as an exceptional achievement.
Students must refrain from bringing cell phones (mobiles), iPods, or any comparable electronic devices, as well as prohibited substances such as 'Panparag' or 'Gutka' onto the school premises. Possession of these items will lead to immediate expulsion from the school.
Loitering in the balcony or any other area within the school premises while classes are in session will result in strict disciplinary action.
